Guru Nile Live & Direct in Full Effect 2019 ??

Guru Nile an African born in Jamaica August 18,1962 at about 7 to 8 years young I start listening the various local & international music that my father played in my home on his record player that he had carried from Americah. I Ioved music from such time. I started to listen to DJs from Jamaica like the teacher Daddy Roy a.k.a. U Roy, I Roy, Scotty, Trinity, Dillinger, U Brown, Ranking Trevor, Nicodemus, General Echo, Jah Mike’s, Bobby Culture, Lone Ranger, Ray I & others.

He mainly listening to them on tape and record player. Staying out side of the dance hall at night listening to all of them. He started to practicing to DJ in my own way.
Now, his DJ thing get started around 1973-5 most of his relatives were living in Kingston Jamaica. He always visit them by his self regularly there.

He get friendly with Nicodemus who was living on Rea road in Waterhouse Kingston Jamaica & Ranking Trevor who used to live on Australia Road in Waterhouse Kingston Jamaica. He always tried to walk with Nicodemus to Prince Jammy before he became King Jammys at Bishop Avenue at Jammys mothers home.

At the same time he mainly love the way U Brown, U Roy, General Echo, Nicodemus, Bobby Culture & Papa Richie chanted. He started making my own lyrics & try to hold the microphone anytime he get a chance to become the resident DJ for all the little soundsystems in & around Moy Hall /Reading St.James. He was sparing / flexing with my brethren Sugar Minott 1983--84 he was the first big artist hold the microphone in a youth man promotion dance. He started to travel in the nineteen eighties & lived in Brooklyn New York & DJ on Third world hi fi many times. He met Lone Ranger, one night in 1988. Lone Ranger & I DJ on a sound system. He gave me maximum respect. Then came home to Jamaica in 1989 & cool out until September 1990. He started to live between the USA & Jamaica, in 2006 he met Lone Ranger again while he was the resident DJ for my brethren sound system Green power from Green Pond Mo-Bay. He was promoting original Rub A Dub dance & he did Guru Nile first recorded single "freedom of expression" in 2009-2010. Lone Ranger asked Guru Nile to write 3 songs for him, one with lone Ranger, Horace Andy & Shut on the Penthouse label & he wrote 2 more for Lone Ranger on the Caribic night crew label "love INA mi heart & respect & progress“.
Then he did 11 songs for the Caribic night crew, now did this 5 song EP for King Toppa to be official release now.
